Advance Open Water

The Adventures in Diving program offers both the Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. If you complete any three adventure dives, you can earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification (see Adventure Diver for details). If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three Adventure Dives for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Why Advanced Open Water Diver?
After your five dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment.

What do I need to start?

• PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
• Minimum age: 15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)

What will I do?
This certification includes five Adventure Dives, including the Deep Adventure Dive, the Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive and three of the following:

• Boat Diver
• Drift Diver
• Deep Diver
• Dry Suit Diver (Dry suit customer supplied)
• Night Diver (requires extra boat fees and based on boat availability)
• Peak Performance Buoyancy
• Search and Recovery Diver
• Underwater Naturalist
• Underwater Photographer
• Underwater Navigator
• Wreck Diver
• Enriched Air/Nitrox

The cost: $275 each for a group of 3 or more, $330 each for two, or $480 for one. This includes two boat trips (four dives), one beach dive, tanks and weights, and PADI PIC Card. Night dive can be included but there is an extra boat fee and is based on boat availability. AOW Crew Pac is required and not included in the course price. You will need to provide two passport type photos (we have a drugstore next door that does them while you wait. There are no hidden costs in our program.
