As a PADI Master Scuba Diver, you’re a highly desirable dive buddy and a preferred candidate for professional level training. Master Scuba Diver is also an ideal alternative to professional ratings as a measure of personal excellence.

You can earn your Master Scuba Diver rating by completing at least 50 dives, your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course (or qualifying certification from another organization), your PADI Rescue Diver course (or qualifying certification from another organization) and at least five PADI Specialty courses.
