Night Diver Specialty
Applying one Adventure Dive

When you go night diving you'll see a whole new world. Even your local dive site takes on a new personality at night, as many underwater creatures and plant life (different from those you see during the day) are active at night. You will also see all the color of the reef that you miss during a day time dive.

Be advised, without proper training, a night dive can turn a perfectly compentent day diver into a hazard. A night dive is not hard and canbe be a wonderfully enjoyalbe experiences once you have the training and experience.

You'll learn night dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems. You'll also learn how to control your buoyancy, navigate and communicate at night. Since many of the plants and animals you'll see are different, you'll also get an introduction to nocturnal aquatic life.

Scheduling is limited by the availability of boats. The larger the group the better the availability.

The cost: $150 each for a group of 3 or more, $180 each for two, or $280 for one. This includes one boat trips (two dives), classroom, tanks and weights, and PADI PIC Card. Night Diver Crew Pac, Cylumes, and primary and secondary dive lights are required and are not included in the course price. You will need to provide two passport type photos (we have a drugstore next door that does them while you wait. There are no hidden costs in our program.
